Thanks to everyone that showed up. We continue to have a nice turnout and hope we can continue the trend. It was fun watching the Tigers play football again. We held Nimitz until the 4th quarter and then they went ahead. Cool seeing all the girls with the mums...it's definitely a Texas thang! To all the old and new friendships, thanks, we'll keep in touch, and if you are ever passing by Tallahassee, FL on I-10 you need to stop by for a cold one!

If my memory serves me correctly [big IF], when we had our 1977 Senior line-up photo taken out on the lawn of our school campus, at 5'1, I was the second one from the end [the lower end]. There was a very sweet spirited, bubble-ly cute and tiny little blond 'Kikker' in her low-wasted 'kikker' styled pants, cowboy boots and western belt w/the large buckle and her name across the back [which I've obviously forgotten] that was on the very end. She went steady all thru high school with the real tall [handsome] gregarious 'Kikker' that everybody loved, especially in our Art class [whose name I've also forgotten]. It was during that photo shoot that I had my light-bulb moment, and for the first time realized how short I really was[am]; especially when the little freshman were no where around us.

I attended Spring Woods in my Freshman Year 73-74, until I attended Northbrook. My family moved to Kempwood Village, so I had to attend NBHS. When I saw the photo of Jack Miller, I had fond memories. He was in the band with me at Spring Oaks Jr. High-he was my first kiss (closed mouth) I had such a crush on him. I remember the trip to San Antonio, on the bus. Mr. Volding kept everyone "in check". Jack, if you read this, please shoot me an email. I've always wondered about you.

Just want to say I hope to see lots of people at the reunion. I've enjoyed the other reunions and have even made some new friendships from meeting people I went to school with and grew up in the same neighborhood with, but never knew (yeah, Roger Beck, I'm talking about you). I even met someone at my church who was close friends with good friends of mine, yet I never knew she went to SWHS, and was in the same class!!! And, this girl, Elaine Loebe, and I had a crush on the same guy, Ricky Ray! hahahaha You just never know what you will find. As far as me, I gained 20 lbs. for the last reunion and 10 lbs. since. Just come as you are, don't worry about a little extra weight, wrinkles or grey hair. We're all aging. The main thing is to have some fun with it. So, come on out to Tin Hall in October! See you there!
